IS STREAM FREE TV BOX OK TO USE?
The short answer is most definitely Yes! Many people get confused between downloading (which is illegal) uploading copyright material (which is illegal) copying and selling material (which is illegal) and streaming-watching without downloading (which is legal). Stream Free TV Box does not download, upload, copy or store any Media and in fact has no connection or association with the websites that host (store) any media. Stream Free TV Box simply connects to websites and temporarily streams the data. The data (Movies or TV shows etc) passes through your internet cables, through Stream Free TV Box to your TV and is watched by you but is never stored, copied or retained.
DO YOU SELL KODI BOXES?
We sell our boxes safely and within the boundaries of the law, and we also make streaming easier for anyone. We do not sell Kodi boxes, Stream Free TV Box is in no way affiliated with XBMC.org, XBMC or Kodi. We use our own version and app and now have made the whole process a lot more easier so now kids can use it! We also manage the updates for you so you can sit back and relax.
WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE SIZE SUPPORTED BY STREAM FREE TV BOX DEVICES?
Stream Free TV Box’s devices are compatible with external hard drives up to a maximum of 3TB. Also, most external hard drives do not require an external power source to work, and can be sufficiently powered by the media hub via the USB port.
WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM SD CARD SIZE SUPPORTED BY STREAM FREE TV BOX DEVICES?
Depends on the Android TV Box you have purchased this can change. All devices support up to 32GB and others will support more.
WHY NOT BUY A FULLY LOADED BOX?
Fully Loaded sellers are making illegal sales and the authorities are clearing them out. There are Android TV boxes that the seller says "Plug and Play", what they have done is installed Kodi and installed very basic apps that in 9 out of 10 cases will consume over 80% of your hard drive space. ARE THERE ANY FEES TO WATCH STREAM FREE TV BOX?
No. We only ever charge you for the purchase of your Stream Free TV Box. We will never charge any fees for access to the streaming media. In fact, we do not have any associations, connections or control over the streaming media that you view on your Stream Free TV Box.
DO YOU GUARANTEE THE QUALITY OF THE STREAMS?
No. We cannot guarantee the quality, durability, longevity or integrity of the streams. These streams originate with 3rd party entities and are completely out of our control or influence. Having said that, as long as you have a good quality broadband connection you will always experience a more than satisfactory streams. The vast majority of streams are good to great quality, many are HD quality. If a stream is not adequate or of a poor quality, there are many many more available, it’s just a matter of clicking on them.
WHAT DO I DO IF THE STREAM IS CONSTANTLY BUFFERING OR FREEZING?
There are two main reasons for this: 1.The stream that you are trying to connect to do not have enough bandwidth to deliver the stream adequately or 2.Your Internet or Wi-Fi connection is inadequate. The solution to point 1 is to simply stop the stream and select a different one. The solution to point 2 is to either upgrade your internet connection or start using an Ethernet (wired) connection instead of a wireless (Wi-Fi) connection. Please see our Shop for a wired solution.
THE VIDEO & SOUND SEEM TO BE OUT OF SYNC SOMETIMES
Sometimes a small number of streams have sync issues, if this occurs you can either select another stream or you can adjust the audio to sync with the video, see our how to videos under "Adjust Video & Audio".
SHOULD I USE WIFI OR A CABLE TO CONNECT MY STREAM FREE TVBOX?
In General, a wired (Ethernet or RJ45 Cable) is always best because a direct connection does not suffer from any interference that Wi-Fi connections are subjected to. The speed of a direct cable connection is always faster than a Wi-Fi connection. If your ISP (Internet Service Provider ) have located your broad band router in the same room as your TV then you can connect directly to your Stream Free TV Box via a cable. If your Broadband router is in another room or even another floor then you can use Wi-Fi or our Home network kits which will give you a wired connection. See our Shop for more details
I HAVE A NETFLIX ACCOUNT CAN I USE STREAM FREE TV BOX TO WATCH NETFLIX?
Yes, but remember Netflix requires an account and a paid subscription service; however, there is an App that can be downloaded and used to view your Netflix account
HOW CAN I HIDE THE TASK-BAR AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN?
Please go to settings, there is an option to auto-hide the task-bar.
